Hello, everyone! I don’t know about you but I have not been able to stop thinking about online shopping. It probably has something to do with the fact that we’re not really supposed to leave our home but I also find that it provides a good sense of escapism. I know this lockdown is difficult for so many people for many different reasons and we all have our own ways of coping with it. I seem to be coping with it with endless online shopping, baking, and binging Waterloo Road. I thought it would be fun to share some of the items that are currently on my ASOS wishlist in case anyone is looking for inspiration or if you’re just feeling a bit nosey.
I have been eyeing up these cute Polka Dot cigarette trousers by Daisy Street. They look so cute and comfy – perfect for working from home. My only concern is that they may be too long as I’m 5″4 and sometimes cigarette trousers can be a bit too long. I am a big fan of trousers with a hook and bar fastening as I find it pulls in the waist to make it more flattering. I think these would look great paired with a cropped t-shirt in the summer or jumper in the winter. I love that you could wear them casually as well as dressing them up for an event. I bet you could get a lot of use out of these trousers.
Next on my list is this cropped cardigan by JDY Donnell. I have seen everyone and their mum wearing cropped cardigans as tops and I am here for it. I absolutely love this trend as it looks so cute. I think this cardigan would go well with the polka dot trousers or with a pair of blue mom jeans. This top is currently on sale and the temptation to add it to my basket is very high. I think I would definitely have to wear fake tan with this top as I’m a bit concerned that it may make me look like Caspar the Ghost.
I have been on the hunt for a small black satchel for a while but haven’t been able to find one that I love. The other day I found myself aimless scrolling through ASOS and I came across this lovely little shoulder bag by ALDO. It has a crocodile effect and an external pocket so it would fit everything that I need in it. You could pair this bag with almost any outfit and I think that it would complement it well. I especially think this would look great with some cropped blue jeans, the above cardigan, and some cute Fisherman sandals.
Culottes are quite on-trend at the moment so these cute tie-waist culottes are definitely in my wishlist. It took me a while to jump on the culottes bandwagon as I am quite self-conscious of my thighs and I was concerned that they would emphasise them. I decided to try a pair of Primark culottes and they are some of the comfiest trousers I own so I am on the hunt for more. These look super lightweight and comfy, also perfect for working from home, especially as the weather gets warmer. I also think you could easily dress this up with a nice pair of heels and a cute crop top.
Lastly, I have been lusting after these & Other Stories heeled sandals for the longest time. They are truly gorgeous and would be the perfect shoes to wear in the summer. I’m waiting until we come out of lockdown so that I have a reason to wear shoes again. These sandals are currently out of stock in my shoes so I’m praying that they come back soon so that I have an excuse to order them. I think that these look so dainty and timeless that they would make a great staple in your wardrobe.
There are a lot more items on my wishlist but I thought I would end it here for now. Let me know if you want to see more. Do you have any items that you’re desperate to purchase?
