Current Beauty Faves

So again, it has been a little while since I last posted. Today I was hit by a wave of motivation so I thought I would use that short burst of inspiration to get back into writing. I definitely want to try to get back into writing as I do miss it but it can be hard when you have a full-time job. Anyway, thought I’d share a few of my current beauty favourites as it’s been a hot minute since I last shared a post like this.

My first favourite is the Milani Baked Bronzer. I’m sure I have mentioned this bronzer a few times on my blog before but it is honestly my all-time favourite. I’m quite pasty so sometimes it can be a bit difficult finding a bronzer that isn’t too dark or too orange. I got this bronzer in the shade Glow and I find that it is the perfect shimmery bronzer to give your skin a bit of life and colour. I know that I will be using this bronzer daily in the summer as it will add the perfect bit of shimmer to my skin whilst still looking pretty natural. Also, Milani is really affordable so I’d defo recommend checking out some of their products.

I have a bit of an obsession with new skincare products and Kiehl’s is definitely one of my favourite skincare brands. Kiehl’s can be a little bit pricey but I always know that the product will be high quality and worth the extra bit of money. For my birthday, my nan bought me the Ultra Facial Cream with SPF 30 and I think this is my favourite moisturiser. It’s so thick but it doesn’t feel thick and sticky on your skin. I love that it makes your skin feel really healthy and hydrated without feeling as if you’ve just caked your face in moisturiser. Also, I find this moisturiser works brilliantly under makeup as it goes a little bit tacky so I find that it keeps my foundation in place. F66EAA40-893F-4BAF-A877-D0F18AF1DCA4.JPG

I love me a good brow product and my go-to is usually Benefit’s Goof Proof but I recently decided to try something new, so I chose the Mac Eye Brows Styler pencil in Spiked. The main thing that I love about this pencil is that you can get really precise strokes so that it almost mimics the hairs. I am fortunate in that I have fairly full eyebrows that are quite a decent shape, my problem is that the hair is quite fair. I love to use brow pencils because they look fairly natural and you can use a spoolie to drag the product throughout your brow rather than completely filling them in. I haven’t really tried many Mac products other than the lipsticks so I think I may have to go back to try out some more products.

Recently, Morphe released the 35G Bronze Goals Artistry palette and I think I am in love. I ordered this palette basically as soon as it came out because it has the most gorgeous shimmers and I needed it in my life. This palette is a bit of me and I have used it almost every day since it arrived in the post. I think I might play around with the shades and share the looks that I create on here if anyone would be interested in that. I have to say, the matte shades are super pigmented and blendable so I was really impressed with that. I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love a golden bronzey look so I reckon this palette is a staple for everyone.morphe-738-410.jpg

So that’s it for my current favourites, what have you been loving lately?

  1. I’ve been wanting to try the Kiehl’s moisturizer for my super dry skin, this convinced me! Thank you!

  2. Love that make up. It really looks good on you, your skin is so nice, I’m sure it will also look good on me.

  3. I’m quite simple right now. I’m resting my face from makeups, I’ve been loving to use face mask lately.
