November Favourites

Hello, everyone! Isn’t Christmas coming around so quickly? I cannot believe that we’re actually counting down the days until Christmas now. I have to admit, I am missing summer. November has been pretty stressful as I’m not really enjoying uni anymore and I’m kind of considering dropping out and there have been some other stressful things going on. However, there have been a few things that I have loved throughout November and thought I’d share them with you.

If you’ve read some of my previous posts then you will know that I am a massive fan of the Beauty Bay Colour Theory palettes so of course, I had to buy another one. I already have Origin so this time I decided to try Evolve and I think it is my favourite. If you’re not familiar with these palettes, they cost £25 usually and have 42 beautiful shades which is an absolute bargain. The mattes are so buttery and easy to blend and the shimmers are so pigmented and beautiful. It’s such a stunning palette for such a good price, would definitely recommend. You can make so many different looks with this palette, whether it’s for everyday use or for a full-glam look.

During Black Friday, I decided to take advantage of the sales by testing out new brands. One of the new brands that I tried was Milani. I have heard so much about Milani’s Baked Bronzer so I had to try it. I decided to try the shade Glow as it didn’t look too dark but it had a nice golden shimmer to it. I love how flawless it makes your skin look, you look so sun-kissed but not too orange. It is definitely my favourite bronzer and I love to use it with the Milani Baked Blush too.

The Goof Proof Brow Pencil is something that I always end up coming back to and I have been using it a lot over the past month. Benefit are definitely on top of the eyebrow game and all of their brow products are such a high quality – totally worth the price. I love that the Goof Proof pencil is so creamy and lasts all day long. I like to top it with the NYX Brow mascara to add a little bit of definition. It makes doing your eyebrows really quick and easy. If you have quite thick brows already, I’d recommend Precisely My Brow instead of Goof Proof as that is better for more sparse and lighter coloured brows.

Lastly, for makeup, I’ve been loving the MAC Prep + Prime spray in Pinklite. I use this before I apply to makeup and again once I have finished my makeup to set it all in place. I love how dewy this makes my skin look and it adds such a gorgeous subtle pink shimmer. I find that this spray just makes my skin look so much healthier and radiant, especially in the winter.

Is it definitely the season for festive drinks and I am a little bit obsessed. I actually tried a Chai Latte for the first time the other day and it was probably the nicest thing I have ever had so will definitely be getting more of those.

Another drink that I have been loving is the gingerbread hot chocolate from Costa. I’m not usually the biggest fan of gingerbread but it is so nice. It’s not too sickly sweet either, it’s the perfect balance of ginger and chocolate and I know that I will be having loads more before Christmas. The caramelised orange latte from Costa is really nice too.

What have you been loving lately?

  5. These all look like great items! I love the look of the chai latte, I may have to try it one day if I can find it around town :3 great post!

  6. I’m not a fan of bronzer but eye shadows definitely. The eye shadows looks so nice. And it’s good that it has several shades to choose from. It is much easier to blend things.
