Hello, everyone! It’s that time of year again when the Christmas shopping commences, but sometimes it can be difficult to know what to get someone. So, I thought I would try to share a Christmas Gift Guide every week up until Christmas. Today I’m sharing a Beauty Gift Guide as it is coming up to Black Friday so there will be loads of bargains where you can save some money (Beauty Bay already have 30% off for Black Friday so check it out). I just want to say that I know Christmas can be a very expensive time so please do not spend more than you can and please don’t feel pressured to buy really expensive gifts as I’m sure your family and friends will appreciate you being with them.
If you have someone in your family who is a massive lover of all things makeup-related, whether that’s skincare, eyeshadow palettes, or pots of glitter. Or if you are a makeup lover yourself, and looking for ideas of what to ask for, this gift guide is for you. I’ve had a search around for the latest beauty Christmas collections to share with you.
The first item is this beautiful box of mini eyeshadow palettes from Zoeva. I have tried Zoeva palettes before and they are always so gorgeous, the shadows are very buttery and blend so easily. The Plaisir Voyager Eye Set features two of Zoeva’s bestselling palettes along with a brand new one -Spice of Life. The Cocoa Blend palette features a collection of chocolate hues and jewel tones, the Caramel Melange includes warm oranges, browns, and reds, and Spice of Life features rich browns, olive, and shimmering pinks. I think that these palettes have the perfect colours for Christmas and you could create so many different looks with these. As I mentioned earlier, Beauty Bay have 30% off so you could get this for £33.60 down from £48 which is an absolute bargain. Also, this box of palettes is perfect for travelling with as it comes in a beautiful box.
I always look forward to Mac’s Christmas collection as they always have the most beautiful products. This year, they have released the Shiny Pretty Things Face Compact and I love this so much that is on my Christmas wishlist. It comes in two different shades, fair and deep and retails for £29. In this compact, you get a bronzer, blush, and highlighter, making it perfect for if you are on the go or if you travel a lot. Mac always nails their face products, I’m especially a fan of their highlighters so I know that this will be really high quality and will last for a long time. Also, the compact arrives in silver metallic packaging and I don’t know what’s more Christmassy than that.
For me, Christmas is all about eating lots of good food and my skin usually suffers for it so I thought it would be fitting to include a skin care gift set. Mario Badescu makes some of the best skin care products and it’s always so affordable so why not try to Holiday Classics Collection which is currently £21 down from £30 on Beauty Bay. This set includes the Enzyme Cleansing Gel, Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs, and Rosewater, Botanical Exfoliating Scrub, and finally the Seaweed Night Cream. I am actually tempted to buy this for myself because this set is an absolute steal and it will work wonders on any skin type, especially during the colder season.
My last suggestion for this beauty gift guide is the Benefit Goodie Goodie Gorgeous Holiday set and this features some of Benefit’s best-sellers, such as the Hoola Bronzer, They’re Real! Mascara, and the POREfessional Pearl Primer. Look how gorgeous the packaging is, I kind of want to buy this set just for the packaging. But seriously, these Benefit products are must-haves for any beauty enthusiast and this retails for £25.50 which is pretty affordable. My favourite thing about Benefit is that they always include tips with their products so if you’re new to makeup or want to try different products, Benefit is perfect for that.
So here is my Beauty Gift Guide for 2018. Good luck with the Christmas shopping, has anyone started yet?
