It seems like only yesterday that I shared my January favourites – where has February gone??? This month has been a bit crazy as I started a new full-time job at Aviva so I’ve had to work out a new routine. I’ve also spent time catching up with friends and family. The weather has been so crazy lately and we have had so much snow that I couldn’t actually make it to work so I thought I’d make use of that time by writing my monthly favourites.
So I know that I’m late to the party but I finally got my hands on the Makeup Revolution concealer and it has changed my life. I usually use the Concealer Lasting Perfection concealer so the consistency is quite similar. I love how many shades this concealer is available in as this means you can get different shades to fit different needs. I use both C1 and C2 as I find these look great under my eyes and to cover any blemishes. The consistency is so thick and creamy yet it looks so natural. If you haven’t tried this concealer then I definitely recommend it.
I have been wanting to watch Me and Earl and the Dying Girl for so long and it was finally added to Netflix so of course, I had to watch it. So this film is a 2015 American comedy-drama that follows Greg (Thomas Mann), a high school senior and a terminally ill classmate, Rachel (Olivia Cooke) who surprise themselves as they become inseparable friends. The style of the film reminded me of Wes Anderson and I am a huge fan of Wes Anderson so I knew I would love this film from the start. I loved this film so I would recommend giving this film a go.
I’m sure you’re all aware that Benefit released their BADgal Bang mascara earlier this month. If you want more details about the product itself, check out my review. I love Benefit’s mascaras and this is no different as it makes your lashes look so thick and voluminous without looking too clumpy. I love that the brush has so many bristles and is so thin as it allows you to really get in there and thicken every single lash.
My last favourite for February is a bit different to what I usually talk about but I have been loving the Alpen Cherry Bakewell bars. I think I found out about these at the end of last month and I am honestly so obsessed. I love a Cherry Bakewell and these taste just like them. These bars are only 70 calories so I can enjoy them without feeling guilty. I honestly cannot put into words how much I love these bars as they just taste so good. There are also other flavours in the Alpen Light selection such as Jaffa Cake but these are my favourite. I love taking these to work or if I know I won’t have much time to eat as they are great for on the go and they taste so delicious without being too naughty.
This month has been pretty busy so I don’t have as many favourites as usual. What are your favourites from February?
Lol I completely understand! My days have been getting busier and busier as well. I’m still figuring out this new rhythm, but it feels good.
I still have to try this mascara!
