Beauty Wish List

Every time that I see a new beauty product review or release, I instantly want to try it out. This is not great for my bank account so I have to hold myself back and wait for Christmas or my birthday. I absolutely love trying out new products so here is a list of some of the beauty products that I am dying to try out.

I have never actually tried any Nars products, but this doesn’t mean that I haven’t wanted to. I have heard so much about the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer that I am dying to try it. This concealer is supposed to be high-coverage with a lot of buildability which sounds perfect for what I am looking for. This concealer costs £24.

I love playing with new eyeshadow so I have been after the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in The Vintage Vamp ever since I first saw it. This palette features four shadows and retails at £39. I adore the colours featured in this palette, especially during this time of year as they are warm-toned. I also love that you can create a more natural look with this palette or you can build it up for a more dramatic, smokey look.

I know I’m late to the party but I have heard so many people rave about the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. This product is great for setting your make up in place to ensure that it lasts all day. This product costs £29 which does not seem too bad for the quality. I have been using the NYX setting powder so I would love to see how this compares.

I wear eyeliner almost every day, I do not feel like me without a big feline flick so I’m always on the hunt for the best product. I have recently heard about the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Eyeliner. This eyeliner comes in 11 colours so you can pick one that suits your taste. It also costs £14.50 which – for a high-end brand – isn’t that bad. I prefer pen-like eyeliners as I find them easier to apply so this would be a great choice for me.

If you often read beauty blogs or watch beauty-related YouTube videos then you will most likely have heard of this. My skin has been pretty bad lately so I am constantly looking for new skincare items to help me out. I have heard so many people talking about the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion. This product is great for spots as it clears and soothes skin overnight and I am a huge fan of quick spot relief.

  1. I like that you keep a list and purchase or request the items you want when possible. I often have to remind myself to do the same. There are so many great things out there that I want, just not enough money for them all.

  2. I’m the same way! There’s so many fun, new products to try out. I feel like keeping a list actually helps me realize what I want the most and helps me save money by making fewer “spur of the moment” purchases.

  3. great product up there, I can see! NARS is just an iconic brand ( I’m so sad that they are no longer cruelty free… 😦 )
I still haven’t found a good enough replacement for their foundation!

  8. We have the same products on the wish list! I want that Charlotte Tilbury palette and Laura Mercier powder, I read sooo many good reviews on it that I have to buy it! The only downside is that they aren’t available in my country and I can’t order them online.

  9. You’re so smart to have a beauty wish list handy, because yes – it can get so expensive! I could go to a beauty shop and spend a TON of money in less than 15 minutes. So I stay away. But a list would be brilliant. The first thing on my list would be natural anti-aging skin care. It’s worth the investment to take care of the skin for sure.

    1. Do you like cream or powder highlight? If you like cream, I would recommend the Benefit Watt’s Up! Highlighter as it’s a beautiful champagne colour and lasts so long. For powder, I would recommend any Makeup Revolution one as they are so pigmented and beautiful!

  10. Kudos to you for waiting it out for gift list! Since Christmas (and birthdays) are coming around the corner, it’s great that you held out for getting these as gifts instead of buying them right away… tough when you really want to try something!
